Production time depends on the garment and its complexity:

• Custom Suit or Shirt: approximately 3 weeks
• Sherwani or embroidery-heavy pieces: 4 – 5 weeks
• Complete wedding wardrobe: 5 – 6 weeks

We strongly recommend booking well in advance during the wedding season. An exact timeline is confirmed at your consultation.

Yes. During a video call, our expert guides you through each measurement step by step — all you need is a measuring tape. You can also self-measure using our Size Guide and submit the details. For best accuracy, we recommend the video call session.

Refer to our detailed Size Guide, which covers how to measure chest, waist, hips, and inseam with step-by-step instructions. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger size — it is always easier to alter down than up.

Our size charts are based on Indian body measurements. Suits and ethnic wear have separate charts. All measurements are provided in both inches and centimetres. Western size labels (S / M / L / XL) are also mapped as a reference.

Free Alterations
Perahans offers a complimentary alteration service. Send the garment back, specify the adjustments required, and we will alter and return it at no cost — provided the item was ordered based on our published size chart. Write to care@perahans.com to begin the process.

Yes. Through our bespoke customisation service, we can craft garments in any size with no restrictions. For a perfect fit in any size, a custom order is always the best route.

Shipping is free on all orders across India — no minimum order value required. We ship via FedEx, Blue Dart, Delhivery, Shiprocket, and India Post.

• Metro cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore): 2 – 4 business days
• Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 5 – 7 business days
• Bespoke / Custom orders: 3 – 6 weeks production + 3 – 5 days delivery

If you have a wedding or event deadline, we recommend ordering well in advance.

COD is available at select pin codes. Enter your pin code at checkout — if COD is available for your location, the option will appear automatically. Bespoke and custom orders require an advance payment regardless of location.

We primarily deliver within India at this time. For international orders, please write to care@perahans.com — we review these requests individually. Additional shipping charges will apply.

We offer hassle-free returns and exchanges. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. The item must be unworn, with all original tags attached and in its original packaging.

Email care@perahans.com or call +91 95689 62145 with your order number and reason for exchange. We will arrange a pickup and dispatch the replacement. Exchanges are processed at no additional charge.

Custom and bespoke orders are not eligible for return as they are crafted specifically to your measurements and specifications. However, if there is a fit issue, we provide complimentary alterations until you are completely satisfied.

Send the garment back to us and clearly describe the adjustments needed — for example, shorten sleeves, take in the waist, or adjust the hem. We will make the alterations and return the item to you. Alteration is free of charge for all garments purchased from Perahans.

Once we receive the returned item, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 – 7 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 2 – 3 days to reflect in your account.

We source premium fabrics across all categories:

• Suits & Blazers: Italian wool, wool blends, premium polyester blends
• Ethnic Wear: Raw silk, georgette, jacquard, brocade, chanderi
• Shirts: Egyptian cotton, linen, premium cotton blends
• Bespoke orders: Choose from a curated library of 200+ fabrics

Fabric composition is clearly listed on each product page.

• Dry clean only — especially for suits, sherwanis, and all embroidered pieces
• After wearing, hang on a wooden or padded hanger to retain the shape
• Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading
• Store in a breathable garment bag — avoid plastic covers
• Use a garment steamer for light creases; avoid direct iron on embroidery

Yes, our fabrics are treated with high-quality dyeing processes. However, deep colours (navy, black, burgundy) may release a small amount of dye in the first wash — which is why we recommend dry cleaning as the first clean for all premium garments. Always refer to the care label on the garment.

If your payment failed, the order was not placed. Check your bank account — if an amount was deducted, it will be automatically reversed within 3 – 5 business days. If it has not been reversed after that, please contact us at care@perahans.com with a screenshot for faster resolution.
